A Little Change Does Alot ~ January 12, 2016

A couple of months ago, I moved my computer out to the living area. Once we began lighting fires in the wood stove, I found myself wanting to snuggle in close and enjoy the beauty and warmth of the fire. But over time, I've realized that things just aren't the same compared to being in my own office space, with my comfortable "secretary" chair, bright lighting and
a desk top that sits at the perfect height which allows me to use the computer with ease. So tonight, I moved everything back to the way it originally was, and I think I'm going to feel much better about things now. My eyes are already thanking me! I guess you just can't teach an old dog new tricks. ☺
I've had a few days worth of pictures I've been wanting to share, so I think tonight's post is the perfect time to do that. We've had lots of different looking skies, and a variety of birds at the feeders!

A Cardinal and Blue Bird visited at the same time in the upper left photo. What fun to see!

Red Bellied Woodpeckers, Sparrows and Juncos are some daily regulars.
The predicted snow has arrived, and is making for a blustery evening. Everyone is home, safe and sound. Maybe the school children will a have snow day tomorrow. I know my son, Charlie, would certainly like that! But....we shall see what the day brings. ☺
Stay warm, friends!

  1. Beautiful photos! It's so neat that you have so many birds stopping by for snacks! I have also struggled with being in my office versus in the living room in the evenings but having a comfortable and efficient set-up keeps me going back to my own space! :)
