Redesigned Closet

Remove the closet doors, add storage solutions, a rod and some pretty curtain panels for an easily accessible closet. Especially for children!

We removed the door to my son's closet because the it opened out into what is an already small room, taking up valuable space for furniture placement. That really made a big difference in our case! We also placed a tall dresser within the closet cavity, eliminating the need for another piece of furniture in the room itself. This gives him a bit more floor space, too.

Simple Organization Ideas

Use a magazine holder for storage of those wraps and papers that

often take up valuable drawer space.

tweezers

How simple is this? Use a magnet on the inside metal of the medicine cabinet

to keep your tweezers in place and handy.

So obvious, but would you believe that many people don't have something

as simple as these things to keep their keys and important items all in one place?

baskets

While you may not have the little, individual shelves for storing baskets like

these on, most closets do have shelving that would accommodate baskets that can be used to help keep things like purses, shoes, belts, socks, etc. more organized.
