Late Night Baking

Have you ever heard the expression, "A girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do!"? Well, when the craving for peanut butter cookies hit me at 9:30 in the evening.....I grabbed my recipe book, whipped up a batch and did what this girl had to do. I baked some!

And apparently I wasn't the only one with this late night craving, because while they were still piping hot just out of the oven, Becca chimed in that some Hershey kisses and chocolate bar bits would be very good on top of them. "Right, Mom? Wouldn't they?" So, I did what any normal girl would do who had the craving for sweets at this hour of the night.....I grabbed every bit of chocolate I could find, and placed it very unashamedly on top of as many cookies as I could! :) After a few minutes, Becca and I were ready to finally taste them. We grabbed one, then another, and another!

My, oh my, did they ever taste delicious! "Yes, Becca, the chocolate did taste very good on them!"

And you know, if I could have, I would've gladly shared some with you! But I'll do the next best thing - I'll share the recipe with you.
