I use this recipe whenever I need a fast addition to a meal, or for a simple breakfast. The recipe can be varied to accommodate your meal. For example, adding garlic powder, onion powder and shredded cheese to the mix when adding the biscuit to a meat and vegetable dinner, or adding a bit of sugar to the mix, with a touch of cinnamon when using as a breakfast or dessert biscuit topped with fruit and whipping cream. (You can even add orange juice in place of the milk for a spin on flavor!)
Simple Baking Mix Biscuits
2 1/4 c. baking mix (such as Bisquick)
2/3 c. of milk
Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Gently combine ingredients until wet and lumpy. Drop by spoonfuls onto a lightly greased baking sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes, or until golden brown.
