One stain remover I have had the absolute BEST luck with is Folex. And I don't just use it on carpet! We've also used it on our clothes, in addition to upholstry, which is stated on the bottle as another thing Folex is excellent for use on. I've never found it anywhere except at our local Kmart store, but if you happen to come across it in your neck of the woods, buy a bottle and give it a try. I don't think you'll be disappointed!
I recently came across Prell shampoo, and seeing it reminded me of having used it when I was growing up. I always loved that shampoo, so I decided to buy a bottle of Prell, and start using it again. Not only does it have that great, fresh smell, but my hair is also squeaky clean. It has a wonderful lather to it, so you don't have to use a lot for each washing. One bottle actually lasts me for quite a while. If you've never given Prell a try, do so and see for yourself what a nice shampoo it is!
