Bacon, Lettuce And Tomato Sandwich

It's one of my favorite sandwiches to make in the summer when it's just too hot to cook! So quick and easy, too. I simply can't resist the delicious, crispy taste of bacon for breakfast, lunch or dinner!!
I can bring home the bacon....fry it up in a pan....ha, ha! Well, actually I cook mine on a rack setting on a baking sheet under the broiler. It really helps to get rid of as much of the grease as possible from the bacon.

I place the crispy bacon on toasted pieces of bread with mayonnaise on them.

Then I add a layer of whatever lettuce I have on hand. This batch happens to be a spring mix variety.

Next comes some juicy slices of red, ripe tomatoes. These are actually hydroponically grown and they taste wonderful!!

Top the sandwiches with the remaining pieces of toasted bread (which also have a layer of mayo on them). Prepare to sink your teeth into an oh, so tasty and delicious B.L.T sandwich that you're sure to love!
